Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) champions Plateau United are on the verge of signing striker Tosin Omoyele from Osun United while Enyimba are hopeful of landing Nasarawa United duo of Abdulrahman Bashir and Olayinka Onaolapo.
Plateau United have made an official bid for Osun United's top scorer in the second tier, the Nigeria National League (NNL) last season and look close to winning the race to sign the forward.
The bid has been lodged in the Domestic Transfer Matching System (DTMS) but is awaiting confirmation.
On the other hand, seven-time NPFL winners Enyimba are keen to restore their place in the big time and have approached Lafia club Nasarawa United for the services of Abdulrahman Bashir and Olayinka Onaolapo.
The move for both Nasarawa United players is still waiting to be completed.
In the past days, Enyimba have been busy in the NPFL transfer window with their targets being Austine Oladapo of Gombe United, ABS FC defender Ernest Governor and his teammate Mohammed Mohammed as well as Chinedu Udeagha.
However the Peoples Elephant have signed on Nasiru Sani and it has now been confirmed that Oladapo has joined the club after he was cleared to leave Gombe United as DTMS certificate for his transfer is now ready.
